I headed over to the west point of the island. Sand rimmed the edges of the island and sugarcane sat precisely on the edge. Fortuned smiled upon me as I spotted a pack of around four or five wolves. They took no notice of me and went their way. I followed.

I discovered another finger like beach but smaller. “Pinkie” I said. Next to the Pinkie was a patch of andesite and stone blocks casing only a minor portion of the island. I let another blocky apple fall down my throat and continued. Nothing more exiting on this arcane island so I started to chop down a small jungle tree to make a house.

My puny wooden axe clanked as I cut down my first tree. A triumphant beam swept athwart my face as I finished off my first tree. I converted my Acacia Log from my starter chest into a crafting table and got to work. I bore a bunker sized space into the finger. Blocks of sand and sandstone plop plop plopped into my inventory. I replaced the sides with jungle wood and smacked a door in. Not perfect but practical. I looked down at my diminishing food bar. “Food”.

I went to the rocky stone/andesite combo place and excavated enough stone for a sword and looked for a pig. Wasn’t very hard; took a couple of seconds. One swipe…two swipes dead. Glimmering orbs of XP slopped into my inventory with 2 pings. The sky darkened. Two raw Porkchops popped into my hand. I inhaled them into my peculiarly square body like oxygen. Still hungry, I planted a few see-OWCH! Twang Twang Twang. Out of nowhere tridents pelted at me by some mysterious force.

I pelted back to my bunker; 5 hearts remaining. Then it hit me… I’m on a tropical island in the middle of nowhere with no sheep to make a bed, hardly any resources and surrounded by water. Water. Water full of mobs. This isn’t going to be as easy as I thought.

Thank You for reading! Part one of day two coming tomorrow! Also, I’ve has people saying, ‘your in creative mode’. If you must know, I copied the seed and made an identical island so I can take my screen shots.
