My Experience With Parrots (end of term special)

Parrots are passive tameable mobs that can make charming companions that will follow u around perch on places and sit on your shoulder. Here are some short stories/ experiences I’ve ha with them.

Parrots are found in the Jungle biomes, making them rare. So, after ages of exploring I eventually came across a Jungle biome. It took a while, but I eventually found one. It was all the way up the top of a huge Jungle tree. I didn't have enough blocks to get up to it so I kept looking. I eventually found a parrot and it consumed TWO STACKS of seeds. I didn't have any more so I headed back home. The parrot wouldn't follow me (it was tamed) and I had to wait every five seconds for it to get on my shoulder. I finally got it home though and it made a nice addition to my pet shop I was making.

I was making a pet shop in creative and made a beautiful cage for them; they fitted in nicely. As you know, parrots imitate noises that other animals make so I had an idea. Because my pet shop seemed a little quiet, I decided to spawn some parrots under the enclosures of some of the animals. My idea went as planned and it was like surround sound for every enclosure.

I had a sad experience with one of my parrots in a survival world. There was a silverfish outbreak and I was cornered. I was swinging at them and one of my oblivious parrots came to sit on my shoulder. It got in the way and died in one hit. :( Luckily, I was able to breed more.

I was in hardcore and I didn't have a very good defence system set up. But I had parrots. Because of the gift of being able to imitate mob sounds, I set a perimeter of parrots around my house. If a mob came close, my parrots would notify me. Once I went out of my house to tend to my farm. One of my parrots made a hissing sound. I ran back inside. When I peered out my window, sure enough there was a creeper waiting for me. My parrot system was one of the most genius things I've created in Minecraft.

Another time, I made a disco and It seemed a bit empty (U know what I did next). Parrots!

I placed too many and made them all dance at once. My pc was NOT HAPPY AT ALL. My computer crashed and I couldn't find that had been deleted because I didn't save it. Note to self: Don't fill a room full of dancing parrots on an already laggy computer. It will never end well.
