After the struggle to leave the island, I decided to expand my base. I made a couple of furnaces and smelted some sand into glass. The sky blackened; thunder hollered in the clouds. The drowned gurgled and zombies groaned. Lightning flashed ferociously meanwhile I was happily boring away in my base making it look less like a sad excuse for

a pit and more of a home. I contemplated taking a glimpse outside my base but thought otherwise.

Time passed as the Gods continued to yeet rain at me. The sky started to turn into a light burnt sienna as the sun started to rise. Then a familiar green face popped outside my door. I noped my square ass to the back of my base and decided to go mining. I needed iron. As the storm continued, I heard more and more lightning striking the island. Leaving

would mean certain death. The rain became softer and softer as I excavated deeper underground.

My pursuit for iron was brought to a halt as a realised I was mining with my bare hand. My pic broke. UGH! I headed back up and noticed the storm was over. I decided to make myself some chests and a campfire. I started to make an organised chest system that I would finish later. “I would use this current base as a storage unit and make myself a proper one with a farm and everything in one of the treetops” I planned.

I checked for mobs and departed from my base to find a suitable stop for my new campfire. I placed it down proudly next to my mini farm. I looked down at my sad food bar and frowned. I needed my food to grow quicker! I could make myself a composter and – hissss. I bolted back to my base.

Ty for reading! Will be posting less regular during the holidays but things will be back to normal soon. :D
